Back to Mexico

image

I threw my backpack on yesterday and hopped a plane back to Mexico for a few weeks. Im traveling with a girl friend of mine. We’ll spend a couple days in Puerto Vallarta, a weekend in Sayulita, then we’ll hop a flight to Cancun, and hit up Tulum and Belize. I’ll be meeting up with few familiar faces along the way; Domina Snow, Meggerz, Mistress T, and Shauna Ryanne.

I enjoy traveling and I try not to make it an expensive habit. When we arrived my friend suggested we take the bus to save money on a cab. We speak next to no Spanish and as a result ended up taking the wrong bus to a wrong area then walked two miles to no where. We finally caved and shelled out a whole $5 for cab fair. The most brilliant part of this experience was that during this time I literally made over $1000 between clip sales, a custom video sale, and @soleshine13 sending me tributes.

Im currently sitting in a hostel right now. Last night my friend’s Mexican lover hopped an hour long bus ride to hang out with us for the night. We sat outisde and drank tequila at a bar that played classic rock songs, reminising. At one point he sheeplishly told me he felt like an asshole because he booked a hotel room to steal my friend away for the night. Of course I don’t care. Hostels are great for saving money and meeting new people, but they’re not the most romantic of places. I’m happy for them. When good people get together and fuck eachother it’s a lovely thing.

Looking foward to the weeks ahead. I’ll be back in April.

The Mystery Box Show

A while back I mentioned that I told a 5 minute story at a local storySlam hosted by theMoth. At that performance afterward I was invited by the host of the The Mystery Box Show to perform at their Valentine’s Day show. I decided to tell more or less the same story, after putting it through several revisions, stretching out, and editing it back again.

Being a person who’s used to “performing” in the privacy of her own room with nothing but a camera, being on stage with actual live bodies looking at me was rather nerve wracking. It caused me a lot of stress leading up to the show and made me ponder what secret masochistic tendencies must have convinced me put myself through this. Luckily by the time I stepped on stage I felt competent and good to go. I’m pretty pleased with the results.

I’ve grown a huge appreciation for live story telling this past year and I feel fortunate to have given my own contribution to the craft. Thank you to everyone who came out and supported me. For those who missed it, here’s the tape:

Love + Radio

A couple weeks ago I had the pleasure of being interviewed by one of my favorite podcasts: Love + Radio. The host, Nick, is currently residing outside the states so we conducted the interview over Skype and it was recorded in my basement by a peer of his in the podcast circuit.

loveandradio

I’m very excited to be a part of this. Love + Radio is a story-based podcast that I have been listening to regularly for the past year. We recorded just under 3 hours of audio, which will be edited down to about 30 minutes and paired with music to tell my story about working in the fetish world.

Nick has asked me to record some of my niteflirt phone conversations to use in the final piece. If you would like to be a part of this, you can access my special listing for it here:

NITEFLIRT: LOVE + RADIO PULIC HUMILIATION LINE

I have reduced my usual rate down to $1.99/min to entice more customers to call. I will ask for consent to record the conversation at the beginning. If you do not wish to be recorded, you will be asked to call one of my normal listings.

I will be recording phone calls through this line Fri-Sun Feb. 20th-22nd. This podcast will be available to the public on iTunes. So if a little public humiliation is your thing, this is a pretty fantastic opportunity for you. Let your freak flag fly.

You’re welcome.

AVN 2015

Last weekend was AVN time. Another whirlwind of fancy dinners, heavy clubbing, and interacting with sweaty porno fanboys who have no idea who I am.

AVN201511

I chose not to do any shooting this year. I’ve found that my two-girl domme clips don’t sell exceptionally well and I’d rather spend that time socializing rather than burning myself out shooting. I managed to squeeze in one night of aggressive partying. After that I was spent. Drinking is tiring and I can barely do heels for an entire night (I almost never where them outside of clips.) Luckily Nate-bitch was there to rest my feet on and give massages on demand.

AVN201501

As thankful as I am that kinkbomb hosts on so many generous VIP club nights, I much prefer a place where I can hear the person next to me and talk to them without shouting in their ear. By the last night I wasn’t feeling well and was in full blown introversion mode.

AVN201514

I spent one day casually walking around the AEE convention. I’ve been many times before, but its always a fun spectacle. In less than an hours worth of time I met Ron Jeremy for the umpteenth time, played with a sex toy in the shape of a teddy bear, met a guy with a chin dick trying to peddle his xerox book, & watched Ashley Fires erotically choke a couple guys. All in all a great way to spend ones time.

AVN201503

The highlight of AEE by far was meeting the legendary Nina Hartley. I’ve been somewhat familiar with her work for some time. Not a die hard fan or anything, but well enough that I figured I’d take a second of her time, say hi, snag a picture with her then be on my way. To my surprise, she was one of the pleasant people I’ve met in a while. She took a genuine interest in me and asked if I was in the industry. After I explained my niche place in it, she she showered me with compliments and praise and told me how fantastic she thought it was that young women can do their own thing and work for themselves. You could tell that she makes anyone she talks to feel like the coolest person on earth. A+ human being.

AVN201506

On Monday we had our traditional spa day and dinner at my favorite restaurant in Vegas; Firefly. Nate-bitch bought me a proper massage and everyone finished the night off at a hookah bar.

AVN2015

It can be isolating at times working in such a weird little industry when you don’t live near other people who in it. I generally don’t talk about work to outsiders, unless they ask, because it’s so unrelatable. Sure, it can be fun when people are fascinated by you and your work and it certainly makes for an interesting ice breaker, but spending time with people who actually understand it, live it, profit from it, is another thing all together. To sit at a table with smart, savvy women and share tips on how to run business more efficiently and have casual conversations about the craziest thing we’ve ever put up a guys ass without batting an eye. I rarely feel more at home.

Home again

Three days ago I arrived back home from my 6 week trip in Thailand. There is so much I haven’t shared about my experience that I may have to go back and tell more stories when I make the time. Or maybe I’ll keep them to myself.

It’s a bittersweet feeling. I love my home, but I could have easily spent several more months in SE Asia. It doesn’t help that I came home to the dark, dreary weather that helps to sustain my city’s high rate of depression and suicide.

My friend Miss. T said it best, “Being delivered back into chilly reality feels like being birthed from a warm womb into a cold delivery room.”

IMG_5796

I don’t mean to sound dramatic though. I’m incredibly grateful for the experience. Traveling is priceless: to be put into an entirely new place with no other responsibility but to explore it, meeting other travelers who are in such interesting, open ended points of their life, cultivating a deeper understanding of people and cultures that appear so vastly different from my own. Time both speeds up and slows down at the same time.

image

One plus side of being back is a new found work motivation. I spent far more money than I planned to on this trip and I have several more destinations ahead in 2015. Fortunate for me I’ve had my two wealthiest and neediest clients waiting eagerly for my top quality, over-priced attention along with the rest of the faceless masses. There’s a long list of custom videos I need to attend to, and on top of that, I have my the company of my cherished industry friends to look forward to in Vegas for AVN. Yahtzee.

IMG_4713

Oh yeah, and if you happen to be in sin city during that time, you can find me signing at the clips4sale booth at AEE Saturday the 24th at 2pm.

Laos

Im currently sitting in my hostel in Laung Prabang, Laos. I woke up early to see the monks who get up at the crack of dawn to recieve food and donations from the towns people. I’d imagine it would have been an interesting cultural practice to see had it not been crowded with tourists sticking flashing cameras in their faces. Ah well.

image

Im staying near the main street. This town is pretty low key compared to the active party islands in Thailand I just came from. Most everything closes here around 11pm with exception to (of all things) a bowling alley. I’ve spent my time here enjoying the nature; trekking around the rolling green hills, visiting hillside tribal villages, and taking in the sights.

image

Yesterday I took a shuttle van to the famous Kuang Si waterfalls. We have some great waterfalls back at home, but they just don’t compare. These were straight out of a fairy tale.

image

I had my nose in a book all day and had misunderstood the meeting place to take the shuttle back, so I missed it and ended up spending my entire day here. There are worse places to get stuck, especially with a good book.

image

At one point I was sitting on a park bench in front of some smaller falls. A group of about 5 middle aged chinese people (mostly women) came up to me. One of them sat next to me as though they wanted to take a picture of eachother in front of the scenery. As I stood up to move out of their way they gestured me to sit down and be in the picture. Confused, I obliged. One by one they did that: taking their picture with me, smiling and thanking me afterward. Afterwards one of them tried to say something to me in Chinese with a big smile on his face. I don’t know who they thought I was but they seemed rather appreciative to have met me.

Chiang Mai

Its 10:55am. I’ve been up for a couple hours. Just took a cold awkward shower in the hostel I just checked into and dried off with a hand towel. This isn’t exactly the luxury hotel I just shared with Shauna and Jasmine for the past week, but its dirt cheap, centrally located and makes for an easy way to meet other travelers.

image

I meant to update this blog every few days but time is flying by fast. I just blinked and spent a week in Chiang Mai. Such a charming city full of temples and hand crafted goods. Ive packed in so much these past several days I may need to make a few blog entries just to sum it up.

image

image

Out of sheer coincedence my trip aligned with Jasmine (aka @vancouverdomina) who had just spent the past several weeks training in a Muay Thai camp. We had met and filmed together one other time previously, but haven’t hung around much socially until now.

image

I like Jasmine. Besides being easy on the eyes, she’s rather calm, reserved person at first impression. The more you get to know her the more you find out she’s a kinky little minx with a camera full of footage from her sexual escapades and pictures of penises she’s tortured with needles, chastity devices and too much viagra. Needless to say we got along well.

image

During the day we visited the markets, took cooking classes, played with baby tigers, and hung out with elephants. You know, typical thailand tourist stuff that’s fun to do but not all that fun to read about. Here’s some obligitory pictures to skim through:

In the evening we went to the clubs. Chiang Mai has a great night life scene with several small clubs in one area each playing a different type of music; rock, reggae, jazz, techno, etc. The bars serve cheap “buckets” of alcohol (which is exactly what it sounds like) and every few minutes someone is trying to sell you flowers or adoreable friendship bracelets. We frequented these clubs a few nights and danced into the wee hours.

Yesterday the three of us parted ways. Jasmine flew to bangkok, her last stop before she goes home while Shauna went to Koh Tao (which I’ll head toward on Monday) As the two of them rode a tuk tuk to the airport, I threw on my backpack and walked 40 minutes to my hostel. It was the first time I really enjoyed the convience of having everything on my back. As I strolled through Chiang Mai I must have ran into at least a half dozen temples. There are several of them just intigraited within the city and each one is more breath taking then the last.

2 nights in Bangkok

It’s about 4:30am and Im currently sitting in the common area of my hostel in Bangkok, jet lagged and wide awake. I arrived here a couple days ago and haven’t got my sleep schedule right.

image

Shauna Ryanne is here with me, she seems to be having better success with sleep than me. On my arrival date I came in late at night and was in dire need of getting something in my stomach and before flopping to bed. A hostel worker pointed us towards what he described as a “lively area” that would be serving food. Turns out he pointed us to Soi Cowboy, a red light district

image

No complaints there. Theres nothing like kicking off a travel experience by eating eating spicy papaya salad in a narrow, vegas-like strip while watching scandaly clad gogo dancers and lady boys aggressively drag western men into their bar. A coule of drunk backpackers crashed our party at one point and tried to make plans that would never happen. It was one of those moments I regret being honest when asked about my profession. “You’re like, a dominatrix? But you’re so pretty! Do you show your tits?” Yeah… Get out of my space.

image

We went to bed at 2:30am that night and I woke up around 5am and couldnt go back to sleep. I killed some time socializng with other travelers in the hostel until waking up Shauna to join me for breakfast. We discovered we had a mutual goal to find a jack shack that serviced women. A “rub n’ rub” if you will. One of the hostel workers made the mission seem far fetched and guilted us with his vague understanding of sex trafficking. We ended up  getting a regular (& incredible) Thai massage but the dream is still alive.

image

Afterward we went over to Theta State Float for some sensory deprivation (essentially, where you float in a inclosed tub of salt water in complete darkness and silence.) I was connected to the owners by a mutual friend and they were kind enough to treat us to an hour. I had only done it once before back home and didn’t get much out of it the first time. I thoroughly enjoyed it this time. Chilling in a pool of nothingness was exactly what my body needed after paying a thai man to contort my body in painfully blissful ways. The owner, Annile, drank wine and chatted with us for several hours afterwards. Truly a gem of the place with a kind, laid back staff. I think they’ll going to do well.

It’s 5:45am. Someone here at the hostel sat down next to me as I was writing this and started a conversation about traveling and finding meaning in his life and work. Typical conversations run pretty deep when you’re abroad. Can’t say I miss the small talk.

I’m going to try and get more sleep.

Happy Thanksgiving

These last few weeks since I came back from Mexico have been busy with both work and play. I leave for Thailand December 1st for 6 weeks so I’ve been filming like crazy to stock up on clips while Im away. Yesterday way my last day of shooting and it’s a relief. I trust you all will enjoy the fruits of my labor while I’m off exploring new territories. Feel free to keep my bank account satiated in other ways as well. I don’t mind.

hump hump2

I had the pleasure of visiting the lovely Ellie Idol and Mandy Flores immediately after returning from Mexico. It was a much needed transition between leaving my dream vacation in paradise to getting back to the grind. We attended HUMP!, Dan Savage’s amateur porn festival. It’s basically where you watch an hour and a half worth of 5 min homemade porn videos submitted by people representing a full spectrum of kinks, fetishes, sexuality, gender and body types. Anyone who’s never heard of it always seems a little thrown off by the notion of watching a bunch of porn in a cinema with your friends, but the videos are, more often than not, pretty campy and fun. Not to mention, Ive been a Dan Savage fangirl since I was 14 so it’s always a treat to support his projects and see him host them live.

domprov

A week or so after that, a large group of friends were visiting and I decided to take them to DomProv: an monthly improv show hosted by Mistress Ivana. It was my first time so I wasn’t sure what to expect, but it sounded up my ally. The show consisted of three men performing short skits based on audience given prompts. Depending on how well they did Ivana would praise or punish them. Punishments included swapping mouth fulls of maple syrup, giving each other sloppy topless massages, and good ole fashion whipping. It was a surprisingly good show. Mistress Ivana was clearly more of an actress/comedian than a legit dominatrix, but she played the parody well.

momola2012-9

One of my friend’s visiting was Momo; a young traditional dominatrix with a minimal online presence. I’ve shot her a few times for team tease and she always blows me away. I love everything about her. She’s coming to visit me again before I leave and I’m going to make a point to set her up with a niteflirt account because she would kill it and I want to see her bathing in money. Look out for that.

IMG_0803

I also had a visit with CJ (aka Ceara Junky) just last weekend. He was traveling through my city so we had coffee and he gave me as much money as the ATM machine would allow him to take out at a time. It was funny to take the picture above in a fairly crowded coffee shop. Who knows what people were thinking.

IMG_0799 IMG_0812

We talked casually for about an hour about his friends and my upcoming trip. I told him I was going to get an iPad Air because it’d be lighter and easier to travel with. He looked sad when I said this. I knew why: he wanted to buy it for me like he bought my last iPad a few years back. Who am I to deny him this pleasure? So, I picked it up yesterday and he reimbursed me. What a guy. No wonder I keep him around.

happythanksgiving

It’s Thanks Giving morning. I work up at 5am today and couldn’t go back to sleep. So I read for a bit and then loaded the rest of my clips for future activation. I’ll be busy all day getting ready for my trip and then tonight I’ll goto my family’s house for dinner. I can’t wait to stuff my face with them.

Happy Thanks Giving.

Sayulita

After spending a few days in New Orleans, Meggerz and I took a flight down to Nuevo Vallarta to spend a week with a friend of mine, Danielle, who is going through a divorce and was in dire need of a vacation. We spent a couple days at her parents beach condo, and then decided to take a day trip to the nearby surfer town, Sayulita.

IMG_9828

We all immediately fell in love. It was a stark contrast to the very nice, but fairly boring resort area we were staying at before where there wasn’t a whole lot to do but lay on the beach. Sayulita was colorful: full of bohemian shops with hand made clothes and jewelry, beautiful young surfers, $25 massages, friendly people and amazing food.

IMG_0073 IMG_0163

We laid on the sand and took surfing lessons during the day, had an amazing dinner right on the beach in the evening, then headed over to the plaza which had come alive with music, taco stands and skeleton face children running around and performing in Day Of the Dead festivities. It was sensory overload. It soon became apparent a day wouldn’t be enough.

IMG_9719 IMG_0064

After receiving a tip from a local bartender, we checked into a rather fancy hostel and made immediate friends with the staff, who happened to all be young travelers themselves with the vision of creating a top quality hostel for backpackers by backpackers. It was perfect, we all got along seamlessly. I don’t believe in fate, but you can’t deny the euphoric feeling you get when everything seems to fall serendipitously into place.

IMG_9919

IMG_9960

On halloween we had dinner at an authentic mexican restaurant and watched all the little trick or treaters run around the streets with plastic grocery bags collecting candy (in this area kids go trick or treating at businesses instead of door to door.) Afterwards we all partied on the hostel’s rooftop lounge drinking tequila and painting each others faces, then headed over to near by beach party that occurs every Friday at Cameron and danced to latin music until 3am.

IMG_0286

The size of this town was one of the things I loved most about it, everything you need is right in walking distance; friends, food, music, & the beach. I met a lot of people but never bothered to get anyone’s contact info because I would inevetably run into them just walking around the area. Life was effortlessly pleasurable. Everyday someone would plant the seen of “you’re not going to leave” in my head and with each passing day the desire grew larger.

IMG_9721

Eventually the inventible happened and someone asked me what I did for a living. It’s always a bit of a thrill when people get to know me for a bit before asking. Getting caught up in the pleasure of being in an new country is an easy way to lose priority in that question. But soon after one person inquired, news of my vocation spread fast and eventually I was indulging questions and entertaining the staff and friends with stories about peddling my bodily fluids and berating men on the internet. It was fun. The hostel owner had a new found admiration for me and entertained the idea of making one of the private rooms into a dungeon for me to work out of so I’d never leave. As predicted, when my departure date grew closer, I wasn’t ready. I had just spent the best 13 pesos of my life on the most delectable carnitas taco when I knew I had absolutely had to stay and pushed back my flight another week.

IMG_0404

The rest of the week I indulged in life’s satisfying simplicities. New interesting travelers came and went in the hostel who were full of rich, interesting things to talk about. More than ever I felt I had really caught the travel bug. I wanted to stay yet go everywhere all at the same time.

IMG_9705

Sadly, it all had to come to an end at some point (as much as everyone tried to convince me it didn’t.) On my last day some friends and I went on a boat tour to the different islands. There was snorkeling, kayaking, & paddle boarding, but mostly everyone just swam and drank like fish. We made new friends on the boat who accompanied us afterwards to yet another beach party at Cameron. A Summer storm had just hit the area and I spent my last night dancing on the beach in the rain then stripping off my clothes and diving into the warm ocean water in my underwear.

10153878_10202238308633066_5157047444970300214_n

Miraculously my hangovers were minimal at best, but coming back was still hard. The icy PNW weather didn’t make it any easier. Sayulita has been on my mind since I got home and Im already entertaining thoughts of coming back in March. But I can’t let my focus stray too far. In two weeks, I head to Thailand.
